ROMANIAN DIARY
"Carmen Lidia Vidu manages one of the most impressive performances that the Romanian theater has given in recent years. Romanian Diary is simply not to be missed!”
Cristina Rusiecki
The danger of vanity lurks around us and drives us towards isolation. We no longer listen to anything but the opinions which confirm ours.
Culture is in danger of becoming irrelevant to the community.
How do we relate to history?
Where are the stories of the so-called "ordinary people", who often turn out to be rather extraordinary?
Where are the personal, subjective memories that make up the fine texture of a life, whether it is better or less well lived?
"Romanian Diary" is a project that brings together multidisciplinary, experimental film, visual arts, and theater.
All materials are documented from an anthropological perspective, visual journalistic communities viewed from the angle of actors who live and work there.
